SIDEN — Privacy Policy
Last updated:
SIDEN is an NFC implant utility app for iOS developed by VivoKey Japan. This policy explains what the app accesses and how data is handled.
Summary
- No account, no tracking, no ads.
- We do not collect, store, or sell personal data.
- NFC reads and writes occur locally on your device.
- Export/sharing happens only when you choose to use the system Share Sheet.
Data the app may access (on device only)
- NFC Tag UID & memory — read from your NFC implant when you scan. Shown in the UI; not sent anywhere by the app.
- Clipboard — used only when you tap “Copy UID”; the UID string is placed on the iOS clipboard.
- Files / Share Sheet — when you choose “Share Dump”, a text file is created and shared via iOS; destinations are your choice.
Data we collect
None. SIDEN does not collect analytics or personal identifiers. We do not run third-party SDKs for analytics or advertising.
Note: If you have opted in at the iOS system level to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us aggregated crash logs. These logs do not contain personal data and are controlled by Apple’s settings.
Storage & retention
By default SIDEN does not store NFC dumps. If you export a dump, it is saved only where you choose (Files, Messages, Mail, etc.).
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties. No ad networks or tracking technologies are used.
Security
NFC operations and formatting actions occur locally on your iPhone. Take care when sharing exported files; recipients you choose can see the contents you share.
Children
SIDEN is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
- Do not use “Copy UID” if you don’t want the UID placed on the clipboard.
- Only share dumps with trusted recipients.
- You can remove exported files at any time from the destination you selected.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
